Running your own business means you have to wear a lot of hats- and it is important to use tools that save you time and help you stay organized.

Here are my favorite business tools: I only recommend tools or platforms that I personally use and love for running my business. Full disclosure- I may include affiliate links and get a commission at no additional cost to you. In fact, my special link usually also provides a discount or special offer for you!

Dubsado

Dubsado is a fantastic tool that helps me manage my entire business: It has helped me automate many tasks that used to be done manually. From the contact form on my website, scheduling meetings, to sending proposals, contracts and invoices in a single email from which the client can also make a payment ( That alone has eliminated the need of so many back and forth emails). The best part: automatic workflows with payment reminders.

This is a very robust platform that requires some work to learn and setup, but saves huge amounts of time and money in the long run. The biggest advantage is the feeling of peace when things start happening automatically!

Start with a free trial of up to 3 clients- which is not limited by time!!

Now that you use Dubsado, you may have noticed that some forms are customized to look branded and just plain gorgeous. ( I use it on my forms- and get so many positive comments!) How can you achieve a similar look?

ClickUp: Project management

clickup

I recently started using ClickUp, and it is amazing! It works great in addition to Dubsado, and it is a competitor to Asana or Trello. It has certain features that are lacking in Trello.

Convert Kit: Email newsletter with automations

How consistent are you with your email newsletters? Unless you communicate regularly with your audience, they will not keep you front of mind, and when they need help from a brand like yours, they might remember your competition instead, that sends educational/ entertaining newsletters more often. Time to fix this issue: you can now automate your newsletters months ahead.

I’ve been using ConvertKit to build new forms and landing pages to grow my email list as a creator. It’s the easiest way to launch your next creative project! Sign up through the link below and you’ll unlock 1,000 subscribers for free.
